વિશાળે જગવિસ્તારે

વિશાળે  જગ વિસ્તારે  નથી  એક જ માનવી,
પશુ છે, પંખી છે, પુષ્પો, વનો, ને છે વનસ્પતિ!

વીંધાય છે  પુષ્પ અનેક બાગનાં!
પીંખાય છે પાંખ સુરમ્ય પંખીની!
જીવો તણી કાય મૂંગી કપાય છે!
કલેવરો  કાનનનાં  ઘવાય   છે!

પ્રકૃતિમાં રમંતા એ  દુભાશે લેશ જો  દિલે,
શાંતિની સ્વપ્નછાયા યે કદી માનવને મળે?

Humans are not alone,
On this vast planet.
Animals, birds, flowers, 
Trees, plants are also there.
Flowers get pierced,
Wing of pretty birds get shattered,
Lesser beings get killed dumbly,
Green forests get wounded,
While such innocent life playing
In the lap of mother earth
Is anguished,
Would human being get any 
Peace of mind in their wildest dream?
